The agriturismo
Nestled atop a hill, surrounded by forests, fruit orchards and vineyards, this agriturismo is found around the eighteenth-century residence, which has been renovated and enlarged and joins perfectly with the surroundings, ensuring high standards of hospitality for our guests, who can choose to relax in the spacious centuries-old park with our historic rose garden.
The agriturismo also organizes educational courses of fiber art, gardening, horticulture, cooking, and bread making.
The accommodation
The agriturismo offers 4 accommodations, made with environmental friendly materials. All our rooms have air conditioning, free Internet, sat TV, sound diffusion system, bar fridge, bath with whirlpool. You may also choose for half or full meal plan, thus savoring our sought-after Piedmont cooking.
This place is perfect for romantic dinners, thanks to an enchanting winter garden, once a greenhouse: a play of lights from dawn to dusk and the crackling fireplace on cold winter nights wed with the panorama that can be admired from the windows.
We also have a small and comfortable hammam – with Turkish bath and color/aroma therapy – plus two reading rooms.
Activities and surrounding
Our agriturismo is found in San Damiano d'Asti, a hamlet between the Langhe and Monferrato, characterized by a medieval core and numerous churches.
Only 2 km away is the Castello di Cisterna d'Asti (11th cent.) that hosts the Museo delle Arti e dei Mestieri: on display, circa 3000 objects from Cisterna and nearby. Don’t miss the towns of Asti (with its feast), Alba (truffle fair), the Castello di Govone and that of Magliano Alfieri.
Guests may also stroll along old paths, on foot or by bike; visits to local wine cellars; the nearby horse stables.
