La Casetta

The location is a good starting point for interesting excursions. The area offers plenty of restaurants and “agriturismi” (farmhouse restaurants), where you can enjoy excellent wines and traditional food superbly cooked. Among the products the area is famous for, special mention is deserved by the red wines of Monferrato, Roero and Langhe and white truffles.

You can visit Alba for truffles and wines, Asti medieval palio and wine- show Douja d’Or, Turin for cultural events (Salone del Gusto) and museums, Venaria and Racconigi for Sabaudian houses, Bra for “Cheese”.

During spring and summer it is possible to join the frequent pleasant walks along scenic routes among vineyards with local food and wines available at stops along the path… a lovely way to spend the day together with the local people.
