The agriturismo

The agriturismo was set up so the family could share and spread awareness about the traditions that have been handed down for generations in Granddad Carlo's old farmhouse.

They have almost a decade of experience (they opened on 1 October 2003) welcoming tourists from all over the world. You will enjoy a family atmosphere that will make you feel at home and enable you to discover the little secrets that have made the Langhe hills so important.

The accommodation

The farm, just 3.5 km from the centre of the city of Alba, covers more than 3 hectares of land planted with vines, hazelnuts, fruit and vegetables.

Accommodation is offered in the renovated old family farmhouse, with 8 rooms, all with private bathroom, TV and independent heating, and 2 one-room apartments with kitchen. Each room is different and is furnished with care and attention to detail. Furniture, photos and objects that belonged to the family have been left in place, in an attempt to maintain an excellent relationship between tradition and comfort.

The farmhouse has a large garden and an outdoor area with tables and chairs, shaded by a centuries-old mulberry tree, where guests can taste the farm’s wines in peace and can relax.

Breakfast, served in the large lounge, features typical produce: cheeses, cold meats and homemade jams and cakes. The produce on offer depends on the season.

A room is also available dedicated to information and documentation regarding the local area, so that, with the help of the staff, guests can plan day trips to the Alba, Barolo and Barbaresco areas.

Activities and surrounding

The Langhe are characterised by the vastness of the horizons marked by towers, castles and vineyards that stretch as far as the eye can see. Here, some of the most famous wines are produced. Many types of activity are available for all tastes, from discovering the local area to sport and free time. The owners can help guests choose wineries offering great tastings and restaurants and osterias with traditional menus. It is possible to organise hunts for the white Alba truffle, on request, with an experienced hunter in the area, and to plan tours of castles and visits to nearby towns.
