The agriturismo
The agriturismo is nestled in the green woodland of the Alta Langa, an historic part of lower Piedmont on the border with Liguria. Located in the commune of Cortemilia, the farm grows a prized variety of hazelnut known as “Tonda Gentile delle Langhe IGP”.
The agriturismo was born from the Rigoni family’s passion for nature, their love of attention to detail, and a desire to create a home-from-home setting for their guests.
The accommodation
The 12 rooms – 8 doubles and 4 suites with open fires and kitchens, all feature whirlpool showers with saunas, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, safes, mini bars and facilities for preparing herbal teas.
The communal spaces are especially beautiful and stylish, from the“sala romantica” with medieval fireplace where you can taste the typical Piedmontese cuisine, prepared only with fresh, seasonal produce from the farm's own vegetable garden, to the elegant “sala del pozzo”, ideal for larger groups, gatherings and ceremonies. There is also a poolside bar service, and the wine cellar, with its display of the farm's wines and grappas, and the rediscovered Barolo Chinato, is the ideal place for tasting sessions, aperitifs or private dinners. The pergola with its wood-burning oven offers shady respite on the Langhe summer days.
Lunches, dinners and barbecues will take you on a laidback culinary journey with strong visual impact.
