La Miando

The farmhouse rent mountain bikes and has a convention with the nearby riding school. It is also a didactic farm  recognized from the Piedmont Region (it welcome school children, for different educational and recreational activities), and in general any participation at farmhouse’s activities is welcome.

Walking through ancients paths and new coursed charts, you can reach high altitudes and embracing beautiful landscapes. On the same territory is it also possible to find historical museums, such as the “Scopriminiera”, a unique experience on a tiny train that will lead you to the discovery of one of the biggest European talc-mine.

You can also cross-country skiing, in the near village called Prali, or simply reach the 39 km far away Via Lattea famous ski slopes. Salsa can offer, on the other hand, an ice rink, and a walk-through-the-woods path for snowshoes.
