Tradition is the starting point, love for genuine flavour the common thread, friends remain friends forever. The business was established almost fifty years ago as a farm and for eighteen years it has also accommodated guests. On the basis of the purest “agriturismo” spirit, all the food and produce come from the farm’s crops and animals (pigs, sheep, goats and boar as well as farmyard animals). The olive groves produce a highly fragrant extra-virgin olive oil, the red and white wines and grapes come from the property’s vineyards. All the fruit and vegetables, cheese, jams and fruit juices are produced here as well, along with the animal fodder.

Breakfast is served on the veranda. Guests can select as much as they like from the buffet that offers fresh homemade cakes, baked bread straight out of the oven, local biscuits, casaxedu (Sardinian cheese), fresh fruit, house jams and local honey. Hot drinks are served at the table. The milk comes from the farm’s goats and sheep. And for dinner? Meals change every day, according to the seasons. Mamma Anna’s kitchen garden reigns: each afternoon she picks the perfectly ripe fruit and vegetables. A few hours later and they will already be on the plates, ready to be savoured. The recipes also vary, but tradition is a constant. There are always handmade culurgiones (Sardinian ravioli) and malloreddus (Sardinian gnocchi), Giorgio’s roasts (the ubiquitous suckling pig, but also lamb, goat, kid, sheep and boar), cheese and cured meat, the inimitable agrumello (citrus liqueur).

After a strenuous day spent on the beach or discovering the infinite natural beauties of Sardinia, everyone dines together. The long table is perfect for convivial meals with a regular turnover of dining companions. Conversation is cheerful and often in lots of different languages. The toasts are also jovial, with Cannonau red wine to brighten up meals and acquaintances. There are eleven rooms (9 doubles and 2 singles), all with their own entrance, inside bathroom and small veranda. The climate-controlled rooms are located in blocks of 3-2-2 and are 50 metres from the dining room; the four rooms without climate control are next to the dining room. The seven recently built rooms (2001) are fitted with climate-control to guarantee cool summers and pleasantly warm winters. They all have their own entrance and bathrooms in the room. Disabled people can access room no. 5, which also has a suitable bathroom for them. The position of the rooms without means they still remain cool and they’re perfect for people who aren’t big air-conditioning fans. An electric heater keeps them warm in winter and fans are available for particularly muggy days in summer.
