The agriturismo

Within Sardinia's very pleasant explosion of fragrances and colours and laying on the 'Giba Nurazzolas' hill on the South-Eastern coast and facing the sea of Porto Corallo, stands the farm-holiday resort.
An ideal and exclusive space to spend your holidays in contact with nature, only a few minutes from the sea.

The accommodation

We own a small fifteen hectares farm, in the Province of Cagliari, between Villaputzu and San Vito, dedicated to cultivation of olives and grapes, to breeding a small goat flock, and farmyard animals.A pair of Sardinian donkeys completes the pastoral atmosphere.

The company was created almost spontaneously and has its roots in the original family agricultural-pastoral context that in the San Vito Mountains sees pig breeding in semi open herding, in symbiosis with wild boars. The protection of the existing Mediterranean maquis favoured the repopulation of the wild fauna: blackbirds, green wrasses, rollers, robins, turtle doves, swallows, etc. build their nests undisturbed in the woods of mastic trees and on wild olive trees. We built a residential facility with the typical architectural characteristics of the local agricultural tradition.

The structure consists of four dwellings with separate air-conditioned spaces, furnished unpretentiously but at the same time comfortably with the basics. We have called the dwellings with the names of some Sardinia's typical plants.

Activities and surrounding

Nurazzolas is situated in the south-eastern of Sardinia, about 73 kilometres from Cagliari and 4 kilometres from Villaputzu centre, a part of the island where coastline and mountains create a unique backdrop of great natural beauty.
Villaputzu and the neighbouring centres have a large number of archaeological sites: the sacred wells Is Pirois, the romanesque church of St. Nicholas, built by the Pisans in the 12th century on the bank of Flumini Durci. In the vicinity are ruins of a castle, for a long time residence of the Carroz, lords of the great domain.

Not for from the castle, towards the sea, stands Murtas Tower, part of the coastal defence system which also included others towers, San Lorenzo and Motta Towers.Along the road 125, just before the bridge on the river Corr'e Cerbu, after seven kilometres in practicable also by car, we arrive to the mineral deposit of Bacculocci; they now form a valuable cultural beritage recognised by UNESCO. It was at work up to the fifties nowadays evidences of the past are the ruins of the building of the village.

A few kilometres south of farm holidays we go to Porto Corallo. Here the coastline is very different, a long sandy beach broken only by the mouth of the Flumendosa and many rocky inlets, where until recently it was possible to find pieces of coral.Recently a harbour equipped to cater small and medium-sized boats has been built in the vicinity.
