Fighezia

The farm holidays is dedicated to the production of vegetables and fruit, it has a small mixed fruit orchard and a vegetable garden nearby that is located about three km away where there is sufficient availability of water. The accomodations are located in a beautiful environment surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation characterized of arbustus, Heather, cork and olive phillyrea.
In the central building there is a television, a small library and a space for table games; there are also toilets for disabled.

In the garden there is an area for relaxing, with a tennis table and opportunities to practice archery.
The territory of Sulcis-Iglesias is part of the geomineral park of Sardinia and is rich in examples of the work of mine.Interesting visits to sites of industrial archeology such as Arenas, Su Zulfuru, Henry Gallery, Planu Genovese, and finally Ingurtosu where there is also the beautiful dune system of Piscinas, the biggest in Europe.

A leap in time is possible if you can visit the Temple Punic-Roman ‘’Antas’’(home of theatre and music on summer nights);to the north, near the coast of Scivu there are some nuraghi, tombs of giants and a sacred well in Capo Pecora. For the lovers of the sea, in the port of Buggerru and Portixeddu, is possible to rent boats; in the nearby coasts between Masua, Capo Pecora, Cala Domestica and Scivu there are beautiful beaches and coves.

Inwards the reliefs of Fluminese are suitable for lovers of trekking trails, gorges, waterfalls, woods and hign bush, but also the caves, such as that of Su Mannau, equipped and which can be visited, routes marked for climbing, botanical gardens like Linasia on Marganai.
