Nestled in the Sardinian countryside, this small farmhouse offers lodging and good traditional food with 0-km products in a peaceful family environment. Suitable for families with children and nature lovers.

The accommodation

Agripaules is first and foremost a family-run farm: cows, sheep and farmyard animals are raised here in semi-wild pasture; there are Sardinian donkeys with which walks suitable for children and adults are organized.

The farm's products, especially cheeses, are the basis of the traditional dishes offered in the restaurant: you can enjoy dishes with unique flavors, such as cured meats, homemade pastas, meats, seadas, pecorino cheese and vegetables from the garden.

The facility consists of 5 rooms with private bathrooms, which overlook a large courtyard. To ensure environmental sustainability, solar thermal panels have been placed to heat the water in the rooms. Also to respect the environment, the rooms inside are well insulated and lined with wood, which allows them to be kept cool during the summer season without needing to use air conditioners. Because attention to ecology is never too much, the drains of the entire facility pour to an efficient phyto-purification plant.

Agripaules also has agricamping sites and facilities where you can relax in the shade of lentisk and wild olive trees. Electricity, toilets and showers with hot water are available to campers.

Activities and surrounding

The agriturismo is centrally located; in less than half an hour's drive you can reach the main seaside resorts of the Gulf of Orosei and the most beautiful coves and beaches with crystal clear sea.

Just 2 km away is one of the most important nuragic villages in Sardinia, Serra Orrios, the Tomb of the Giants "Thomes" and other archaeological evidence of considerable importance.

Hiking and off-road trips in the surrounding area are organized. The highlight is somatic trekking: excursions with the help of donkeys.

Nearby is Lake Cedrino where it is possible to rent canoes and admire hidden nooks and crannies, see special plant and animal species by booking a boat tour as well.

At 13 km is the town of Dorgali, renowned for its handicrafts and its seaside hamlet Cala Gonone, from which it is possible to take boat trips in the Gulf and visit theaquarium (25 tanks for a dip in the Mediterranean Sea and tropical seas).

At 8 km the ancient village of Galtellì ,named an orange flag by the Touring Club.

At 20 km the seaside village Orosei with its wide sandy beaches and extensive pine forest.
