The agriturismo
Founder was the family that wished to continue its typical culinary art, handed on from father to son. Thanks to its experience the farm has developed a culinary standard based on the product simplicity and on a natural preparation, values that has given the farm a recognition by the national gastronomic magazine "Il Gambero Rosso" in 1995.
The Farm produces itself the main part of the products: pork and sheep meat, cheese, poultry and eggs; even pasta is hand made, using the traditional system and sanitary regulations. The same is for wine and Sardinian spirits mirto and limoncello and for sweets.
The accommodations in the farm are comfortable: each one has a kitchen corner and a third or a fourth bed is requirable.
The accommodation
One room is surrounded by greenery, dating back to the birth of the farmhouse: it is a typical stone building equipped with every comfort, with double bed and bathroom inside, veranda.
The apartments are arranged on a hill overlooking the sea, instead consist of double bedroom, third and possible fourth additional bed consisting of a double sofa bed and located in the living area, where among other things is the kitchen, there is a bathroom, a veranda overlooking the sea and the coast where you can dine or spend time relaxing.
CARAMARE 2-room apartments: each 2-room apartment has a double bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed in the living area for 2 people. The sleeping area and the living area are separated by a wall that does not reach the ceiling, so the two rooms are partially communicating.
Built following an architectural style typical of the area, with wooden beams and transoms roof and overlying reed roofing with roof tiles, the apartments are equipped with water, electricity, gas, bed and bath linens, and a cleaning service and linen change is included in the weekly cost.
Also in apartment, you can have in low season (April, May, September, otobre), either bed and breakfast (bed place breakfast) or residence only.
In the late low season(June) mid season (July) and high season (August), you can have not only residence only and B&B, but also half board. From June to September for those who practice the "residence-only" regime in the apartment, they can decide to come to the restaurant for dinner whenever they wish by paying separately.
Activities and surrounding
Punta Lizzu Farm Holiday lies in the country- side of Siniscola, which is located in Nuoro district. Siniscola strategically lies between the mountain territory of Nuoro and the so-called Gallura, which with Olbia port and airport represents one of the three major outlets to the rest of the world, a mild weather all year long and a great land variety.
The territory is one of the most variegated of Sardinia ending on the north side with Montalbo mountain and with the wonderful beaches of Berchida and Capo Comino on the south.
Montalbo is the last shelter of mouflons and it gives refuge to the eagle, to the hawk and to many other animal and flowering species, making trekking really exciting.
The many white and beautiful sand beaches begin with La Caletta, a small town with a very long beach that ends in Santa Lucia, an old fishers village with an Aragonese tower of the XVI century.
Going to the south we'll find the wonderful beach of Berchida, that with the sand dunes and the rocks of Capo Comino Lighthouse, make an unforgettable seascape.
