The agriturismo

The agriturismo is located in the Sinis countryside, around 10 km from the regional capital, less than 5 km from the sea and close to the most beautiful beaches of the Gulf of Oristano.  The property is surrounded by the unspoilt nature of the Sinis Mal di Ventre Protected Marine Area.
This family-run agriturismo offers a typical rural welcome, for a holiday spent enjoying wholesome cuisine and the peace and quiet of country life.

There is also a children's play area in the garden. 1 km away, guests can book horse riding excursions to enjoy the country sunsets.

The accommodation

The agriturismo offers 6 double bedrooms with the option to add a single bed or bunk beds for children. The accommodation is accessible via an independent entrance leading directly on to the garden for your privacy and comfort. Hairdryers are available on request.

Meals are served in the dining room, which is furnished in traditional Sardinian style, with chestnut wood beams and Arte Povera furniture. 

Activities and surrounding

Sinis is a coastal region offering several kilometres of white quartziferous sand beaches.

The region is rich in marshlands and lakes: the Cabras marshland (over 20 square km), Mistras, Mar'e Pauli and Pauli'e Sali, a protected area home to a particular species of purple swamphen. Flamingos can also be seen in the area. Also worth a visit is the Seu Communal Park (accessible on foot from San Giovanni di Sinis and from Is Arutas beach), with its sandstone headland, home to almost every species of Mediterranean shrub and many species of animal.   Sinis also has much to offer for lovers of archaeology, from the churches of San Giovanni and Santa Maria to its museum and nuraghes.

On the Cabras marshland you will see fishermen fish for mullet and eels using “fassois”, typical boats made from woven reeds.

Cabras offers features typical of the ancient villages of central Sardinia: small dwellings, mostly single storey, with walls built from "ladres", an unfired Campidanese brick.

Amazing
We spent very nice days there, wonderful for the children as there is a small zoo with many animals in the back area. Dinner was conjured up with our own products, which are also mostly home-grown.
Breakfast was all right only for late risers.
