The agriturismo
The agriturismo is immersed in the countryside of Alghero, in the province of Sassari, on an 8-hectare estate planted with vineyards and olive groves, on the Nurra plain, close to the Porto Conte Natural Park and the Riviera del Corallo of Alghero.
A soccer field and children'splayground are available to guests; boat trips are organized and the accommodation has an agreement with a riding school.
The accommodation
The farmhouse has 6 double rooms, equipped with private bathroom, refrigerator, air conditioning and heating, plus 5 pitches equipped foragricamping, surrounded by the farm's olive trees, each covered by a 10-square-meter gazebo with light point, water and 3 bathrooms with showers.
The dining room, for 50 covers, offers typical Sardinian dishes including homemade salami, olives, sottolii, homemade pasta and typical island desserts. At the Saride farmhouse, all dishes are homemade. The appetizers: bacon, sausage, olives, pickles. The first courses: gnochetti alla sarda, ricotta ravioli with sauce, and tagliatelle with wild boar sauce. The main courses: porcetto, roast and stewed lamb. Side dishes: potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Desserts: seadas, and typical Sardinian sweets. Digestifs: myrtle, limoncello, and other specialties.
The Saride farmhouse is equipped with a dining room with an entrance specifically designed for the disabled, for greater comfort and familiarity, dosing the useful with the beauty of the exterior and interior. It is also equipped with toilets designed for the disabled, with remarkably large spaces and with shower entrance facilitated and aimed at enviable comfort and always sought after.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is a few minutes from the city of Alghero and the airport of Fertilia; nearby a few kilometers away are the most beautiful beaches of Alghero, Porto Ferro (2 km away), Le Bombarde, Lazzaretto, Mugoni, Porticciolo, and the beautiful Capo Caccia; finally, clubs, bars, discos.
For lovers of hiking or biking, Alghero is full of bike paths and wide sidewalks that accompany all the way into the ancient city, full of characteristic alleys, churches, squares, coral stores, etc.
Inside the farmhouse, the soccer field and merry-go-round for children can be used. The staff organizes boat trips, excursions to theMaddalena Archipelago,Asinara Island, horseback riding, visits to the gallery of master Elio Pulli and many other activities.
Near the farmhouse, there are plenty of activities to entertain children or teens, such as a go-kart or motocross track and the Cala Viola riding school.

I have been managing Saride since 1986 with my wife.
As well as we cook for the guests, we take care of the crops, we rear the animals.
It was a desire to to live in nature which led me to run an agriturismo.
