Archery, ping pong, mountain bikes and a children’s playground are all available for the guests’ free time.  For the 2009 summer season there will be a swimming pool and solarium.

There is also the possibility to book guided tours to the mediaeval town of Randazzo; a guided tour to Etna and its grottos, to Nebrode and the Alcantra Gorge.  

A short distance away are the famous tourist and bathing spots of Taorminaand Giardini Naxos.
For those who enjoy ski-ing, there is Piano Provenzano, 25 kms away, which has ski-lifts.
During Holy Week, there are a number of processions to remember Christ’s Passion.  The most moving procession is the one held on Good Friday, when the Cross is carried on the shoulders of the devout followed by the Madonna, who is also carried on shoulders.
The third decade of July and the first of August, staying in the town of Randazzo is further heightened by a beautiful and suggestive Mediaeval Festival. Dancing, singing and costume parades fill the squares and streets of Randazzo’s historical centre.

Randazz’s summer culminates during ‘ferragosto” with the feast-day dedicated to the Madonna’s ascension to  heaven. The spectacular “Vara dell’Assunta”, 22 metres high, is carried in procession along the historical centre’s main road.
The town of Randazzois a mediaeval centre which boasts monuments of rare beauty dating back to the XII century.  Amongst these is the Basilica of Santa Maria, the church of San Martino and the Church of San Nicolò. The agricultural art museum realized within the ancient XII century Castle and the archaeological museum with diorama.
