Our farm is 10 minutes far from the museum train in the railway station of Villarosa, 20 minutes far from Enna and its Lombardia castle and Rocca di Cerere, 40 minutes far from Piazza Armerina and the Villa del Casale, 1 hour far from Cefalù and its Norman Cathedral and from Agrigento and the temples valley. It is 30 minutes far from Nicosia well known for the painted wooden ceiling of the Cathedral, 40 minutes far from Sperlinga, famous village of rock civilization, 60 minutes far from Petralia Soprana and its Spanish quarter and fine churches, 75 minutes far from Catania and Palermo.
Our farm has a wellness centre with Finnish sauna and a spa for therapeutic hydromassage, a bowl field , a table football table dames and a little library. Didactic visits are organized to follow the wheat cycle: from seed to bread and olive tree: from plant to oil.
Our farm is 75 hectares large where at present hard wheat, olive trees, almonds trees grapes, chickpeas, grass-peas, black lentils from Enna hills, saffron, large broad bean from Leonforte, a small orchard and a small kitche garden are grown according to the method of biological agriculture. We are seed savers: small quantities of black lentils from Enna and of hard wheat called ?Timilia? were entrusted to us in order to save the cultivars in danger of extinction. Saving the old seeds means not only to prevent from extinction the plants which were on the earth since man appeared and marked mditerranean populations' history, but also to introduce the use of them into the restaurant both as flour to make bread , pasta or polenta and as pulser to serve to our guests, because we want they rediscover the old flavous lost now.
