The agriturismo
Agriturismo San Cataldo, a place of unspoiled beauty amidst expanses of olive trees, vineyards, citrus groves and streams, is located in one of Sicily's most beautiful valleys, the Alcantara Valley.
Just a few kilometers from Taormina, it is very close to the Alcantara Gorges, near the Nebrodi Mountains, and offers a breathtaking view of towering Mount Etna.
The accommodation
The San Cataldo farmhouse offers hospitality in comfortable rooms with B&B, half board and full board. There are two types of accommodations: wooden chalets, independent of each other, with large spaces available and able to accommodate two or more people, and 3 rooms obtained from the renovation of the stone barn, surrounded by dense vegetation that offers a more private environment.
The restaurant offers dishes prepared with products from the garden and animals raised in a simple and genuine way. During the summer you can spend moments of complete relaxation in the farmhouse swimming pool.
Activities and surrounding
A pristine and evocative scenery frames the facility, where you can simply relax among the animals, practice horseback riding with horses from the farm along the many paths immersed in the wilderness and bordered by enchanting streams, dabble in one of the trails in the brand new Adventure Park.
This is an opportunity for everyone, young and old, to have fun in a natural way, to escape from everyday life, to experience the thrill ofadventure and the joy of being together.
The most daring will then be able to demonstrate all their courage by climbing the 10-meter-high climbing wall. Among other activities offered by the farm: archery, static soft air, trekking accompanied by expert guides to discover the ancient mule tracks. Excursions by gip and quad bike to the Alcantara Gorges and Mount Etna are also organized upon request.
