The agriturismo
Farmhouse overlooking the sea of the Plemmirio Natural Reserve, 8 km from Syracuse and 24 from Noto, offers hospitality in air-conditioned apartments with kitchen and bathroom. Terrauzza sul Mare is the ideal place for a stay in an oasis of peace between the sea and the countryside. The guests of the agriturismo have private access to the sea from inside the farm.

The accommodation
The apartments available to guests are fully furnished and equipped with every comfort, air-conditioned, equipped with colour TV and have an entrance with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower and a large private outdoor area. The farm has a plant for producing electricity with a photovoltaic system and solar panels to produce hot water. English and French are spoken.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo is located by the sea in the Protected Marine Area of Plemmirio: there is access to the sea from the farm and beach umbrellas and deckchairs are available for guests.
The location of this agriturismo allows excursions to four provinces in Sicily: from Taormina and Etna, two hours’ drive away, to the Cava Grande and Pantalica Natural Reserves, to the oasis in Vendicari, to Capo Passero, to the baroque cities of Noto and Palazzolo Acreide, in the Syracuse area, declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites or to Modica, Scicli and Ragusa Ibla in the Ragusa area, all no more than an hour and a half’s drive away.
On the agriturismo, guests can participate in a workshop and a school of decorative ceramic art, run by the owner. The apartments are all decorated with these ceramics produced on the farm.
The farm also produces an excellent olive oil and seasonal fruits and guests have the opportunity to purchase agricultural produce and also ceramics. Marine excursions also take place along theSyracuse coast and diving courses are organised in collaboration with specialised companies.

The accommodation is located close to Syracuse. Perfect for visits and cultural activities. We enjoy snorkeling as a family. And the accommodation is just 300 m from a quiet cove. Very rich marine environment: moray eels, groupers, etc.

I have been doing this job for 23 years along with my husband.
As well as we welcome the guests, we are responsible for communication, we run the courses.
It was a desire to to live in nature which led me to run an agriturismo.
Our guests especially like the location.
