The agriturismo

In the Hyblaean hills, in an area rich in historic and natural interest, in the spectacular valley of the River Cassibile, or Kacyparis as it was called in ancient Greek: the farm’s position is ideal for accessing almost every Sicilian province. A few km from the wonderful Baroque town of Noto, the spectacular Cava Grande canyon, the picturesque Modica and the intense scent of the sea on Capo Passero.

The accommodation

The professionalism is that of a 4 star establishment, both in terms of accommodation and service, and comes with a warm and friendly welcome. There are 8 guest rooms in a nineteenth century “borgetto”, and 2 suites complete with lounge, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms.

The restaurant offers the finest traditional Sicilian and Mediterranean dishes. There is ample parking surrounded by age old olive trees and striking mulberry plants which frame the swimming pool, reserved for guests only, with a kiosk and deckchairs. Laundry service.

Activities and surrounding

Gusts can enjoy horse riding, mycological trekking, excursions and guided tours all over the Hyblaean region, as well as archery and cycling. The Noto Valley is a short distance away, along with the beaches of Avola, the Lido di Noto, the Vendicari nature reserve, Calamosche beach and the ancient tuna fishing village of Marzamemi. A short drive will take you to Syracuse, where Greek wonders meet high society in the ancient Ortygia streets.

Pros: beautiful location, quiet, well connected to the highway and Noto. Perfect activities for families with children, in contact with nature. Very friendly and warm staff.
