The agriturismo
A family-run organic farm which cultivates fruit trees and a vegetable garden, nurturing traditional varieties.
The agriturismo is located in a valley, 3 km from Noto and 8 km from the sea and the beautiful beaches of the Vendicari Nature Oasis.
Simple, cosy accommodation for a holiday in harmony with nature.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is provided in four houses built between 1884 and 1928, renovated using natural materials with the aim of preserving as much of the original structure as possible. All houses include their own kitchens and bathrooms, and remain wonderfully cool even on the hottest summer days. In the quiet of the night you can hear the pleasant babble of the stream nearby.
Casa dell'Arco, on the ground floor, comprises a double bedroom, lounge/kitchen, utility room, bathroom with shower, heating, and a veranda for dining outdoors. Communal garden.
Casa 1928 is a house with very high ceilings, featuring a mezzanine level on which the double bedroom is located. The house also comprises a kitchen area, lounge area, utility space, bathroom with shower and space for dining outdoors. Heating, wood burning stove.
Casa del Pergolato, on the ground floor, comprises a large bedroom, kitchen, utility room, bathroom, and a table and chairs under the pergola for dining outdoors. Communal garden.
Casetta delle Zucchine comprises a double bedroom, utility space, bathroom with shower, heating and a courtyard with an outdoor kitchenette. Communal garden.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can relax in one of the hammocks along the stream, swim in the natural lake, climb the "Tre Pizzoni" mountain peaks, explore the valley, meet the animals and help with the various harvests.
Just a short drive takes you to the coast and the beautiful beaches of the Vendicari Nature Reserve, the lakes of the Cavagrande Reserve, Pantalica and Cava Carosello.
Be sure to visit Noto, a baroque city which hosts a wealth of cultural events, as well as Syracuse, Modica, Ragusa Ibla and Scicli.

We spent some days at "Valle del Tortorone". The place is Like Paradise, there are nice Cats and ponies. To this time, there was an abundance of lemons and oranges.
