You will be enchanted by the famous "Tre Cime" (Three Peaks), the Sundial of Sesto, the mountain streams with their waterfalls such as that of Riva di Tures. The mountain lakes, such as Lake Dobbiaco of Lake Braies, are the ideal backdrop to romantic moments or to invigorating nature walks.
Our position is ideal also in winter: we are close to large and small ski areas, featuring cosy refuges, plenty of cross-country ski pistes, such as those of Val Fiscalina or Prato Piazza, as well as innumerable ski-mountaineering and snow-shoe itineraries.
In addition to sports, the local culture and history offer truly interesting opportunities, such as the Bolzano Natural Science Museum that hosts the famous "Ötzi", the man from 5000 years ago discovered in the ice, the Predoi mines museum, the Teodone Folk History museum, Castel Tures with its weaponry, the San Candido Romanesque church.
