Canto degli Alberti is an old stone built farmhouse, which in the past included the stables, and is part of a small complex comprising a sixteenth century house, and a group of buildings which collectively were a granary, a forge, a mill all involved in farming in the Tiber Valley in the past.
Visitors enjoy a magnificent tumbling panorama of the foothills of “Alpi della Luna” (the mountains of the moon), meadows, hills and woodernels where they can enjoy tranquil walks and in the appropriate times of the year may find mushrooms and truffles.
Canto degli Alberti is set in an Italian garden, partly terraced and here guests can relax in absolute peace and enjoy the pineclad setting in the nut trees, limes plane trees and ancient oaks. For those for whom quality food is appealing, there is ample opportunity nearby, to enjoy tradition local Tuscan-Umbrian specialities, particularly in Monterchi (a small mediaeval village with several restaurants and where Piero della Francesca left one of his most famous frescoes la Madonna del Parto) and in the surrounding area

Canto degli Alberti offers the following options among four apartments. In the two independent apartments la “Limonaia “ and la “ Stalla” the original structure has been maintained, while offering maximum comfort. These are on the ground and first floors are il “Fienile” and il “Camino”, the other two independent apartments equally original and comfortable.
All four apartments have natural stone walls partially plastered, beams and tiled floors. Each apartments is carefully furnished in an old style and is supplied with sheets and towels. There is crockery and cooking utensils, a cooker (gas) and a TV with a satellite channel. There is full central heating, linen is changed weekly and the apartments are cleaned on a weekly basis.
For any sports loving guests, of Canto degli Alberti quite near they can find tennis, football, horseriding, rollerskating and fishing. Pets are allowed.
