The farmhouse Fattoria Caldesoni – named after its location – is located in Tuscany, province of Arezzo, municipality of Anghiari, in a typical Tuscan hill area, where you can enjoy landscapes of striking beauty. Set in the centre of a protected ecological oasis, the main building lies at an altitude of 500 mt asl, far from pollution and noise. Here you can breathe fresh air and enjoy the harmony of beautiful landscapes. The Fattoria Caldesoni is an organic farmhouse with a surface area of about 200 hectares; it has a natural mix of copse woods, pastures, arable fields, olive groves, fruit gardens, vineyards spruces, and chestnut groves. There is a production of cereals, forage, olive oil, vegetables, fruit, chestnuts, walnuts, and timber. There is a breed of calves, poultry and rabbits. Animals roam freely in the farm, they mate, reproduce and grow in a natural way, eating in the farm’s unspoiled pastures. All above, following only natural organic and certified methods.

The farmhouse is a new structure obtained by a nucleus of typical Tuscan farmhouses dating back to the end of the 18th century. Classified as having artistic value by the Region of Tuscany, their renovation was carried out following the original plans, without altering volumes and configuration. Only materials like the original ones were used, such as stones, antique bricks, chestnut and oak wood and terracotta floorings.
The whole structure is composed of:
- 5 standard rooms, each with bathroom, spacious and comfortable;
- 5 suites, each with a sitting room and bathroom.
- a kitchen a breakfast room/restaurant;
- a living room.
Rooms and suites are furnished with beds in wrought and hand-painted iron and furniture created by local artisans, by using seasoned chestnut hardwood from the farm woods. All rooms and suites have a TV. A third bed can be provided, upon request. Each room and suite has outdoor private green space, furnished with deckchairs, tables and chairs to enjoy and relax in the sunshine during the day and admire the spectacle of a starry sky during the night.
The structure is surrounded by green lawns, seasonal flowers, olive groves and fruit trees where guests can wander freely.
Restaurant: The meals served in the farmhouse, upon request, are prepared with organic products from the farm, varying according to the season. Snacks as well are prepared with typical specialities of the Farm such as “focaccia”, ham, cheese, and cold cuts. Not to be missed: fresh seasonal vegetables such as carrots, celery, fennels, radish and so on, served with olive oil produced in the farm. The wine comes from vineyards of Sangiovese, Pinot, Chardonnay close to the farm. The water, which is extremely pure, comes directly from a natural waterfall in the farm.
