Only 500 meters from the medieval village of Laterina/AR und situated in the centre of Tuscany, the Fattoria Isola, surrounds for 200 hectares the hills of Laterina. The 7 large and elegantly furnished apartments, restored keeping the old typical Tuscan style, gives our guests the opportunity to visit the Tuscan art cities like Arezzo, Florence and Siena, and at the same time living in the quietness of the countryside.

The estate Fattoria Isola, once belonging to the Grand Duke of Tuscany, is an ancient farm composed by a 1600-villa surrounded by a large park with centenary rare trees (like Spanish firtree), by a private and still consecrated chapel, by a small village and several country houses. It also has a beautiful shooting reserve populated by pheasants, hares, roebucks and wild boars.
The 7 large and elegantly furnished apartments, divided in 2 buildings, have been restored in the old typical Tuscan style, some of them with real antiques and with contemporary art. All of them have satellite television.
Apartments type A (2+2): Two-rooms apartment on the ground floor of about 45 square meters composed by a living room with double bed sofa, kitchen and table, by a double bedroom and by a bathroom with shower. In front of the house, you have a place to sit with table and chairs.
Apartments type B (2+2): Two-rooms apartment on the ground or first floor of about 55 square meters composed by a living room with double bed sofa, kitchen and table, by a double bedroom and by a bathroom with bath. In front of the house, you have a space to sit with table and chairs.
Apartment type C (4+1): Three-rooms apartment on the first floor of about 80 square meters. Entrance from the private garden, stairs to the first floor. All furnished with antic furniture, the apartment is composed by a small livingroom with single bedsofa , kitchen and table, by 2 double bedrooms and by a large bathroom. In front of the house you have a private garden with table and chairs.
Apartments type E (3+2): Three-rooms apartment on the ground floor of about 60 square meters (suitable also for handicapped people) composed by a livingroom with double bedsofa, kitchen and table, by a double bedroom, by a single bedroom (with French bed, 1,4 by 2,0 m) and by a special bathroom with shower (suitable also for handicapped people). In front of the house, you have a place to sit with table and chairs.
More over the agritourism is equipped with a swimming pool (7 by 14 meters with roman stairs, open approx. from the 15th of May to the 30th of September) surrounded by a large green area with lying chairs and sun umbrellas.
The farm produces Chianti red wine, extra virgin olive oil, mais, wheat, sunflower, vegetables and tabacco. You can buy the products directly from us.
