The agriturismo
The family-run farm produces its own organic produce, which is then used in the dishes offered to guests.
The food is based on traditional Tuscan country recipes and the menus vary with the seasons.
The accommodation
Thanks to the careful renovation of the farmhouse, the agriturismo now provides: 6 rooms in a single accommodation block, all spacious, comfortable and equipped with modern amenities; a large shared dining room, connected to the kitchen and pantry; a shady garden and a private swimming pool.
Only authentic dishes are served in the restaurant, many of them made wholly or partially using produce from the farm, which produces its own hams and cured meats, sheep’s cheese and fresh vegetables.
Much of the area once used as a barnyard has been paved with terracotta bricks and can be used for recreation and leisure activities. Overlooking this square are the dining room and the well-stocked shop with gastronomic specialities, many from the farm and others from strictly controlled areas.
Activities and surrounding
Alongside its agricultural activities, the agriturismo is characterised by the presence of horses. Riders and enthusiasts from the local area often get together to ride across the farm’s land and enjoy tasty snacks.
A modern stable is normally home to many horses, which have access to large enclosures so they can run around freely.
