The agriturismo
Farmhouse in a wonderful panoramic position in the centre of the Upper Arno Valley, at the gates of Chianti area, ideal for reaching many cities of art. The agriturismo is predominantly based in the main house and in an adjoining building and offers finely furnished rooms and apartments.
The wide open spaces, restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court and riding centre allow guests to enjoy a holiday based around sport and relaxation.
The accommodation
The apartments offer all modern amenities with fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, terrace with table and chairs and a private area in the pool.
The bright double rooms have a TV, mini fridge and bathroom with shower, and enjoy an enchanting view of the garden and olive groves.
The restaurant, set in the farm’s old wine cellar, welcomes guests in summer on the panoramic terrace and in the winter by the warm fireplace and serves Tuscan specialties with a twist added by the chef.
Activities and surrounding
Guests have access to a large garden with barbecue, swimming pool, tennis court, riding centre with instructor and guide and play area. Nearby, there are Italian Alpine Club trails for walking, hiking and mountain biking.
The location of the agriturismo means that the small villages of Chianti Fiorentino and Senese, medieval castles, famous wineries and the cities of art of Arezzo, Siena and Florence are all just a short distance away.
Basic necessities are available in the village of Montegonzi while there are shopping centres and supermarkets 10 km away in the centre of Cavriglia.
