Magrete

The agriturismo Magrete is a 10 hectare estate nestled among pastures, vineyards, and olive groves located about 500 meters in altitude, next to the Parco delle Foreste Casentinesi. The farmhouse, skillfully restored and furnished according to Tuscan style, is found on a hill directly overlooking the splendid Castello dei Conti Guidi of Poppi.

From the windows you may admire the entire Casentino valley, the Camaldoli and La Verna, the towns of Bibbiena and Pratovecchio with the Castello di Romena and the small village of Buiano with its 11^th-century church.
The place is family run.

The restaurant offers typical Tuscan food, prepared with skill and tradition. The silence and peacefulness of the place offer guests the possibility of spending calm days in contact with a nature full of vegetation and local fauna. You may admire doe, fox with large tails, squirrels jumping among the branches of walnut and oak trees, boars with their bristly fur, buzzards flying high in the sky, swallows, and lightning bugs that between June and July light up our countryside.
