Poggio a Poppi

The agriturismo won the prize "Ospitalità Italiana" as best agrituristic company in the province of Arezzo (2011).

Guests have the possibility to choose between six different rooms. The rooms all have their own bathrooms, heating, television, telephone and internet access points. What characterises the interior of the farmhouse is the attention they have paid in selecting the materials: wood, natural stone, cooked clay and wrought iron have been used as a basis for the interior design that incorporates modern finishes.

The guests can choose between 2 apartments which can accommodate from 2 to 6 people (4+2). The apartments and consist of a bedroom, a bathroom, kitchen and living room with fireplace. The living room provides enough space for an additional bed if required. The apartments can also be connected with an adjacent room if required in order to provide enough space for a bigger family or group of guest. The apartments are centrally heated and have a television as well as telephone and internet access points. The kitchen is equipped with a hob and oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher. We also provide the basics for cooking like salt, sugar, oil, vinegar and coffee. As well as the rooms, the apartments have also been painted with natural colours. The themes for our apartments are Adam and Eve and Ulysses and Penelope.

Silvia want to pay homage to the authors of the famous classical stories of love and passion which they have named the rooms after: Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, Psiche and Eros, Ableardo and Eloisa, Paolo and Francesca, Dante and Beatrice. The colour schemes chosen for the rooms were inspired by the books and you will find a corresponding book in each of the rooms. All of the rooms are painted with naturals colours based on the theory of the harmony of colours and light to achieve a wellness effect.
