Three farms: Camponovo, San Lorenzo and Castigioncelli. An eighteenth century villa, evocative farmhouses, and a cellar all situated on an enchanting hillside, beautifully scored by avenues of cypress trees and clusters of pine trees and oaks. One hundred and thirty hectares of vineyards, olive groves and woods producing, among other things, Chianti Classico and Valdarno.

When Vanni, Carlo and Marco, three Milanese brothers, acquired the property in 2002 they had one vision: to value the local culture and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to combine local Tuscan product with Lombardian pragmatism. Their aim is to produce great wines with an elegant pleasing taste, respectful of local winemaking traditions, but employing modern technology, and also to produce olive oil, celebrating the great heritage of the area.
The living area: San Lorenzo is made up of a farmhouse on two floors, known as San Lorenzo, and a single storey outbuilding, known as the ‘Vinsantaia’. The two buildings have been divided into apartments with separate entrances.
Each apartment has been the subject of a faithful restoration that has placed high value on retaining structural elements of the original building whilst bringing them up to date for contemporary tastes. Oak beams, hand laid terracotta tiles, soft colour schemes on the walls are all blended in each apartment with modern and elegant furniture and, with their reminder of the past, help to form a link indoors with the surrounding countryside: cypress trees and ancient oaks, olive trees and distant woods alongside carefully maintained vineyards with rolling hills, all serve to create an intriguing co-existence of past and present.
In each apartment, the needs of modern guests are met with air conditioning and heating; a cupboard of wood and steel serves to store food, whilst the beds can accommodate one guest or two.

The view from the windows is of the surrounding countryside.
There is a small separate building provided for guests to do their own laundry.
Each apartment is provided with its own linen, along with all tableware and kitchenware needed to self cater.
A daily cleaning service can be provided upon request.
Guests may also bring their own domestic pets.
