The agriturismo
Nestled in the countryside in the Valdesa hills, 190 m above sea level, the agriturismo produces extra virgin olive oil and honey, and is the perfect place for a peaceful, relaxing holiday.
The accommodation
The farmhouse is composed of 4 apartments with independent entrance, bathroom, kitchen-living room, 2 bedrooms and private outdoor space.
The apartments Edera and Lavanda are respectively on the first floor and on the ground floor; Gelsomino is on 2 floors, the apartment Rosa is on the first floor and has just been restored.
A large swimming pool, a wood-burning oven and a barbecue are available for guests.
Activities and surrounding
Guests can follow all stages of processing the farm's products (depending on the season)
Children can visit the farm with donkeys, ponies, baby goats, calves, and other animals; they can look after the animals or participate in work in the vegetable garden.
Those staying in truffle season can go into the woods in search of the precious truffle with Mauro and his inseparable lagotti Dotto and Eolo!
Nearby is Il Gelsomino Ranch, which offers quitazione lessons and walks, for beginners and experts alike!
The farmhouse is only 2 km from the village where the main services and many restaurants with typical Tuscan cuisine are located.
Florence, Pisa and Siena are less than 60 km away, while in half an hour you can reach San Gimignano, Volterra and Vinci. We recommend hiking on the farm or along the trails that cross the entire municipality of Montaione.
