I am truly sorry that your stay did not live up to your expectations. Indeed it is a special year for me because due to major health problems I will not be able to delight my guests every night with dinner as I did until last season. We are organizing to try to offer at least once a week a tasting menu that can introduce my traditional Tuscan cuisine, if I did not succeed in Your week of vacation it is because the very circumstance did not allow me to do so. Logically, the commitment made with the reservations already received at the date of the discovery of the illness will be regularly kept with the commitment of my whole family. I regret the problem with the heating system that by rule cannot be kept on 24 hours a day, but both I and my family, have always been present within the facility and have always tried to meet your needs, we would have preferred one more request than one lousy comment and would have been ready to accommodate you again. What I regret most, however, is your assessment of the breakfast. I have a small, family-run establishment that started as a farm and not a hotel. I have only three apartments with a limited maximum number of guests. Logically, those who stay with us usually do not expect to find a continental buffet but rather a homemade, peasant breakfast made from products from our garden. As with all the guests who have so far stayed with us you have been offered omelets with seasonal vegetables, eggs from our chickens, cold cuts and cheeses from local producers, homemade cakes, traditional Easter holiday desserts, yogurt, jams, Tuscan bread that is always fresh, and much more. I was also made extra requests and they were fulfilled as far as I could tell. This is what my family and I are, and we are very sorry if you did not feel as pampered as other tourists who spent their vacations with us.
