La Tinaia

Tina and Franco welcome you in their charming farm holiday. We left office work and city life on 1998 to make our dreams come true: to live in a typical Tuscan farmhouse and to work in the Chianti land offering hospitality and growing grapes and olives.

LA TINAIA farm holiday is located in a unique scenic position, 10 km away from the centre of Florence, on the lovely hills surrounding the town. Easy access to Florence by tramway – ride 15' - leaving every 5' from Scandicci tram stop, at 10' drive from the estate.

The 4 apartments , which can accomodate 2 or 4 people, are  comfortable and tastefully restored in the typical Tuscan country style. All of them are very bright and have beautiful views over the Chianti hills. They are furnished in the late 19th century style and are equipped with Sat TV and heating and some of them with air conditioning.

LA VIGNA (2 people, 38 sq. m.): living-dining room with cooking area, bedroom loft mezzanine, bathroom with shower. Top floor.

IL BOSCO (4 people, 65 sq. m.): living-dining room with cooking area, two bedrooms, bathroom with shower. Top floor.

ERICA (2+2 people, 55 sq. m.): living-dining room with cooking area and  sofa-bed, bedroom and bathroom with shower. Ground floor.

GINESTRA (2 people, 35 sq. m.): studio with living-dining area and cooking corner,  sleeping area with double bed,  bathroom with shower. Ground floor.

Panoramic swimming pool of size 11x5,5 meters.

The large garden offers outdoor eating possibilities and charming spots for relaxing and free-time activities. As some apartments are located on the top floor, a large kitchen on the ground floor is available for those wishing to cook and eat in the garden.

On request, we organize Tuscan cooking class. You also can visit our little cellar and taste our top quality Chianti wine D.O.C.G. and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
