Le Docce

The farmhouse and barn dominate the summit of the hill and have been restructured to obtain eight apartments that maintain the ancient terracotta floors and wood beamed ceilings that are typical of Tuscan architecture.

Beyond the eight apartments there is a delightful reception area, a swimming pool that offers a superb, sweeping view from San Gimignano to the Apuan Alps, a large park with picnic tables and barbecues, a lawn bowling field and mountain bike trails.

On the ground floor of the farmhouse, dating back to the mid-19th century, there are two apartments. One is called ‘Anemone' (Anemone) and the other ‘Ginestra' (Scotch Broom).
On the upper floor there is ‘La Torretta ‘ (The Turret) apartment.

The other five apartments, located in the annexed barn, are called ‘Glicine' (Wisteria), ‘Edera' (Ivy) and ‘Girasole' (Sunflower) on the ground floor, and ‘Noce' (Walnut) and ‘Castagno' (Chestnut) on the upper floor.

All of the apartments are equipped with individual heating , TV set in ‘Anemone', ‘Ginestra' and ‘La Torretta', satellite TV in the other apartments and an outdoor covered terrace where it is possible to dine.'Anemone' and ‘Ginestra' apartments have air conditioning. ‘La Torretta' is available only in summer months and it hasn't heating and air conditioning.

The 'Anemone', the 'Edera', the ' Girasole' and the' Castagno' (for 2-4 persons) are two-room apartments, made up of sitting room with kitchenette and double sofa bed, double bedroom, bathroom with shower.
The ‘Ginestra', the ‘La Torretta', the ‘Glicine' and the ‘Noce' (for 3-5 persons) are three-room apartment made up of sitting room with kitchenette and double sofa bed, two bedroom, bathroom with shower.

Le Docce offer a private parking, a laundry room , a telephone with Internet connection in the reception and free use of mountainbikes
