The agriturismo
An historic farmhouse with two storeys, lovingly restored and surrounded by the natural setting of Borgo San Lorenzo, just 20 minutes by train from Florence.
The establishment is a horse breeding ranch that handles all steps in the chain from insemination to training. The agriturismo welcomes guests' pets without restriction: dogs, cats and horses, which are accommodated in the stables with comprehensive services, including a sand arena and a plethora of trails through the ranch's own meadows and woodland.
The accommodation
The premises were once the estate of Marquesses Lotteringhi Della Stufa, Florentine counts and patricians enrolled in the order of wool and silk weavers and merchants since the 13th century.
The large veranda offers a panoramic view of valle del Mugello and the foothills of the Apennine mountains: this is the perfect spot to enjoy a range of wines carefully selected for the farmhouse guests by sommelier Raffaele (tasting events can be reserved at home for Tuscan wine and food).
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises; guests can also use the barbecue facilities, laundry, and covered area with table tennis. Arrangement with nearby partner bicycle and mountain bike hire business with the possibility of discounts for guests.
Private swimming pool in an attractive setting in a fenced garden, exposed to the refreshing breeze from the surrounding hills.
