We came back Monday, 25/04 after spending 3 days in this beautiful farm, a farmhouse with a capital "A" !!!. What about ... quite exceptional: we opted for treatment in half board (extra recommended, given the excellent cuisine with the freshest products at km 0 and the extraordinary hands of one who puts us so much love and time in preparing food, the talented Serena). The comfortable self-catering apartment. Also great for the kids: we are in getting their company Nutella ponies, donkeys, Geppetto, Dante a wild boar "hand-reared," Zizu the Vietnamese pig and to the delight of my daughter also 4 spplendidi horses. The patience of Alexander, husband of Serena, was commendable. He organized a tour with ponies for children who wished. I should write a poem to express the serenity of the days we spent but will also leave you a little 'curiosity ... otherwise if I tell you everything?!? I shot a lot but places like this where there is a combination of excellent food and relaxing, there are hardly !!! And then there is also a wonderful swimming pool !!! SUPER RECOMMENDED.

For this holiday we can only say that it was the most relaxing and most enjoyable holiday for us, we had so far! If you have only once managed the "adventurous" trip to a return trip to the court that each time brought my girlfriend sweaty palms, a recovery expected pure. Accommodation: We stayed in the apartment "Nocciolo" and had a wonderful view of the valley and to Rufino. The room contained all the necessary facilities incl. Microwave, kettle and small fridge. Since we had (thankfully) booked half board, we have only used the refrigerator. Food: For breakfast there was next to the obligatory (homemade!) Cakes and biscuits fresh bread, jams, cheese, cold cuts (ham, salami ..), on demand also eggs and juice and coffee you depending on your mood even himself could pick from a Nespresso machine (espresso, lungo Caffee ..). The guests were also, however, courteous served by Flora and Paloma. Taste everything properly! Breakfast was available from 08:30 until 10:00 clock. However, the dinner was always the highlight (even if it was only served at 20:30 clock). There was every time a typical Tuscan (5-course) menu, which was fresh and homemade, cooked by Serena, the owner according to old recipes and Alessandro, presented the owners personally. Mostly simple dishes, but they were so plentiful and tastefully prepared and served, that you take the one or other kilos more on the ribs home; to the red wine or rosé produced on site ... no better way to spend a vacation. Wishes could express it and was happy to fulfill. The nice thing was also that the number of guests was clearly (it was during our stay max. 13 people for dinner, which the whole family very designed) and you could get to know different nationalities. Activities: There is a pool, where you can take a refreshing dip, various chairs and other activities, but we did not use them, such as trail rides, riding lessons for children and adults, cooking classes etc. The animals on the farm are also fun for young and old: The Shetland pony "Nutella", the donkey "Gepetto" (the one sometimes hears about the whole area), the wild boar "Dante" (which, as it grew up with dogs, myself do not know that there is one), a Vietnam Hängebauchschwein, the sweet dogs "Arno" and "Flo", cats and several horses. For day trips to eg Florence (20km; you can reach by train from Rufina; duration about 20-30 minutes; € 3.60 pp), Pisa and Lucca, the Court is the perfect starting point ... and retreat, to escape the Troubel. We had a rental car and were therefore unbound. Also walking tours can start from here well. We were lucky enough to take part in the grape harvest and followed by lunch incl. Family, this was a special highlight as end to our holiday. The conclusion: quiet, romantic, delicious, hospitable and well worth a repeat. Simply "Bellisimo" Thanks to Serena, Alessandro, Vittorio, flora and Paloma! Greetings Timo "Pepolino" and Bilmez

We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful place surrounded by nature and accompanied by the unique hospitality of the owners. The place is close to the main city to visit. But one of the nicest things was to eat traditional Tuscan dishes cooked with great skill by the nice serene, not forgetting the delicious cakes that were waiting for us every morning at breakfast. Thanks to all for the kindness and hospitality ... a greeting from the family of Matera and in particular from small Matteo who really miss the funny Geppetto.
