This summer we spend 2 lovely weeks in this nice restored farm.
This property is surrounded by cultivated fields and has a very nice swimming pool. Depending the season you can pick and collect the fruit and vegetables available.
All apartments are nicely renovated. Our apartment (Il Gelso) had every comfort needed. Every day someone of the owner’s family is checking the property. They are very kind and will help you as much as they can.
The nice town of Marradi is 4 km away. There you can find a supermarket, bakeries, bars,…
The region of Marradi is somewhat isolated. Nevertheless Firenze is easily reachable by train. Other highlights are Bologna (1h30 by car), Ravenna (1h00by car) and Brisighella : a nice town with a surprising medieval architecture.
In fact, we had a nice and soothing holiday in this lovely agriturismo of this friendly family.

We stayed at Popolano di Sotto from 3 to 17 July 2010 in this very old farmhouse. The houses were well equipped and large (we rented the appartment for the physically disabled: Il Fico).The hosts were friendly and welcomed us with sparkling wine and home made cookies. The pizza night was also a good initiative to get to know the other families.
The swimming pool was outstanding but we advice the hosts to add more chairs and some umbrellas for extra shade. The temperature on the hill was extremely high that period.
The views from the appartments on the landscapes were beautiful but you have to drive 30 km before you reach the highway for visiting bigger cities in the region.
