The Ranch is situated in The Mugello, a beautiful area in the Northern countryside near of Florence, easily reachable whatever your mean of transport is. The Mugello is known as the “heart of Tuscany” and is famous for its historical importance (is the homeland of the well known Medici family), its beautiful countryside, its traditional cuisine and hospitality. The ranch is the incarnation of this spirit, and became the symbol of that genuineness and welcome that characterize the Tuscan Folk.

The Ranch Ricavo was founded in 2007 by Marco di Tullio, who decided to take on the Ricavo Farm and turn it into family-run ranch in the Western style.
The un-missable entrance of the ranch is in the Old-Western style, constructed of wooden beams. The buildings are all in rustic style and are surrounded by Western wooden fencing. Inside the farmhouse are four double bedrooms for guests, a large dining room, and relaxation room equipped for pranotherapic massages offered by the farmhouse.
There is also a large restaurant with a bar in original Saloon style, and outside there is a large barbecue area with pizza oven with outside seating, and throughout the year are often organized mixed-grills, paella and pizza lunches and dinners.
