The agriturismo

A charming residence located on the highest hill in Chianti Classico with a view of one of the most beautiful and distinctive areas in the world.
The agritourism is located halfway between Florence and Siena, 8 km from Greve in Chianti. At one time its walls hosted a convent, a church and today they host a romantic residence.

The accommodation

The agritourism is the result of careful restoration that was personally supervised by the owners. Inside the building is divided into apartments and rooms of various sizes, all equipped with private bath (with hairdryer), LCD satellite TV, safe, telephone and autonomous heating. Each location is equipped with an electronic access key and has an exterior terrace or garden with gazebo. The furnishings were carefully chosen with particular attention having been paid to the large beds with mattresses and box springs made entirely of natural products. There is also internet and WiFi access for those who are interested.

Breakfast is a full buffet and is served on the terrace in the orangery where there are dinner and games during summer evenings: a large screen video system allows guests to watch shows and events in the company of others and the famous Florentine steaks can be cooked on the barbecues. Also available to guests are: a meeting area, a green area (with daily gardening service), a panoramic pool with slightly salted water (cleaned daily), a wellness zone with hydromassage and gym and a play area for children. The parking area is equipped with video surveillance and access is through an electronic key. 

Activities and surrounding

Various activities can be enjoyed in the area including: hiking, gathering strawberries, asparagus and mushrooms. fitness walks and no-kill fishing in the private lake.

The agritourism is located 8 km from the city of Greve in Chianti on the border of the San Michele Natural Park. The areas that can be reached on foot are: Ruins of Monte Domini, San Michele, Lamole. Other attractions that can be easily reached by car: Badia a Passignano, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Terme di Rapolano, horseback riding stables and the Ugolino Golf course. Bus service passes 1300 meters from the agritourism.
