Romitorio di Serelle

Located in the heart of Chianti, on the panoramic road which links Poggibonsi to Castellina, the ancient Romitorio di Serelle rose in the Middle Ages. Its highly suggestive environment unites discretion and exclusiveness with the convenience of being easily accessible by road connections.

The villa has been completely restored, preserving the original characteristics and using traditional materials of Chianti rural architecture. 

The hospitality is offered in apartments of different types, exclusive and comfortable flats, independent from each other, furnished according to rural traditions, but offering high quality standards.
All apartments are provided with heating, kitchenette, Microwave, sat TV, telephone; many of them have private garden or arcade and fireplace.

The tavern, reserved for the guests, offers all the wine and gastronomic products that have made Tuscan cuisine famous around the world. Among the most outstanding specialties are Chianti Classico wine, which is produced on a nearby farm and the fragrant, high quality olive-oil, which is used for the preparation of tasty traditional dishes.

The menu includes regional seasonal dishes such us ribollita (vegetable soup), pappa al pomodoro (tomato soup), bruschetta (oiled bread with garlic), panzanella, all delicious and at the same time very simple.

The swimming-pool (16 x 8 sq. m.) is part of a unique landscape, on the verge of the woods and overlooking a large vineyard.
