In the garden it is possible to use a brick-made barbecue for guests' dinners, to enjoy the sun in summer and to refresh in the swimming pool or relax under the shadow of pine trees, perfect for having a rest, a conversation with your friends or reading in absolute tranquillity.
The area can be visited while horse-riding, on foot or by mountain-bike, going through the typical Tuscan hills which go up and down you can find wonderful panoramas: the plain which goes as far as the sea and the medieval villages around it.
The farm is located in Maremma in Roccastrada, next to Montemassi. Capracotta farm holidays is situated in the middle of a big area, where you can find many and important tourist places of great historic and cultural value.
At three kilometres from the farm, you can find the village of Montemassi, a fortified place which probably dates back to 10th century. Then: the village of Roccatederighi, placed on its stones, known even before the year 1000, where there are plenty of towers, roofs, constructions along this natural piece of land which stretches itself in Maremma; Sassofortino; Tornella; Ribolla.
The farm holiday is near important Tuscany centres such as: Follonica, known for the clearness of its water, a warm and clean town on the sea; the beautiful and charming small bay called ?Cala Violina?; Vetulonia, a nice village on a hill, an Etruscan small town which dates back to the Iron Age which gave lictorian symbols such as the fasces and the axe to Rome; the Spa resorts of Saturnia and Petriolo (mud-therapy, sunbathing-therapy, massages, aesthetic and rehabilitation treatments or simply relax for your physical and mental well-being).
Finally: the Farma stream (after flowing down calmly in vast valleys, after Torniella the Farma stream shows all its beauty with its natural pools, gorges and water falls); the Lake of Accesa (a place where you can sunbathe and see the remains of an Etruscan settlement); the Uccellina Park (a WWF oasis).
