Casale Aronne

In its natural surroundings, including sea, pinewood and Mediterranean plants, Casale Aronne offers various attractions: walks in the country-side, riding and mountain bike excursions.

Casale Aronne is 5 Km. from Massa Marittima, 15Km. from Follonica and its beaches and 3 Km. from Lake of Accesa. This is a lake of Kars-formation with bathing water. Next to it there is an archaological park with the rest of an Etruscan settlement.
In the neighborhood there are some natural preserves (Marsiliana, Parco di Montioni...) and the Carapax Centre, the only italian centre about the preservation and the study of tortoises.
Those who love sea can easily reach Follonica, Torre Mozza, Carbonifera, Punta Ala or Puntone from where walking on foot or by bike you can reach Cala martina and Cala Violina, that’s one of the ten most beautiful Italian beaches.

The region gives the opportunity of cultural and artistic trip in Massa Marittima, Vetulonia, Volterra, Pisa... or, in south direction, the Etruscan settlements of Roselle, Vetulonia and Sovana.
