The agriturismo

Just 3 km from the sea of Castiglione della Pescaia, the agriturismo is located within a farm that grows olive trees (centuries-old and newly planted) and raises hares for restocking.

From the slightly hilly position of the farmhouse, you can admire a wonderful panorama that embraces the sea, Giglio Island, the pine forest strip, Diaccia Botrona and the town of Castiglione della Pescaia.

The accommodation

This newly built exposed stone construction offers 6 double rooms, all soundproofed with Wi-Fi, fridges, air condition and TVs. Around 400 m away, you’ll also find 2 fully-furnished apartments. The agriturismo is suitable for disabled guests. Outside, you'll find a garden, green space and a swimming pool.

 

The agriturismo’s restaurant serves a selection of typical dishes from Maremma tradition. The buffet breakfast is particularly generous.

Activities and surrounding

The local area offers much to see and do – just ask the Monaci Family for suggestions. In the surrounding countryside, you can enjoy walks and admire the native wildlife, from hares to wild boar and pheasants. Just a few minutes by car takes you to Castiglione della Pescaia, with its characteristic medieval town, and its multi-award winning coastline, part of a region rich in historic and archaeological treasures. Why not take a motorboat trip to the islands of Giglio and Giannutri?

You can also visit Vetulonia, Populonia, the tuff cities (Sovana, Sorano and Pitigliano) and the Maremma Park.
