The agriturismo

In the Tuscan Maremma area, halfway between the Argentario coast and the Terme di Saturnia spa centres, the agriturismo offers a beautiful view over the hills and the village of Saturnia, just 5 km away. Nestled on an 80-hectare estate, the agriturismo offers plenty of opportunities for mountain biking along the local roads, sport fishing in the private lake and picnicking in the designated areas.

The accommodation

The 3.5-hectare vineyard produces fine wines, of which SUPERBIA and LUSSURIA stand out, the first of which undergoes fermentation in oak barrels for a year before being bottled.
Elegant, fragrant and persistent wines, three essential characteristics for optimum quality: a Sangiovese base blends perfectly with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The organic farm also grows wheat, sunflowers, rapeseed and produces PDO oil.

 

Guests will have the opportunity to taste the produce and appreciate the friendliness of Leonildo and Adriano.

 

Nestled in a large garden, the farmhouse offers rooms with wrought iron beds, spacious bathrooms and soft lighting.
Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served in the shared dining room, completely made of stone according to the criteria of Maremma-style architecture.

Activities and surrounding

The agriturismo offers discounts at the Terme di Saturnia spa centres, just 15 minutes’ drive away. The charming Cascate del Mulino waterfalls are the same distance away.

A mountain biking trail has been created around the agriturismo fields.

Nearby, dense forests, inhabited by protected species, are an ideal environment for mushroom picking.
