The agriturismo

In a hilly spot, around 5 km from the sea at Castiglione della Pescaia, the agriturismo offers stunning views spanning right from the Diaccia Botrona Nature Park to Monte Argentario and Giglio island.

The intimate nature of the accommodation means the agriturismo’s guests are treated like part of the family, with a warm welcome and excellent service guaranteed.

The accommodation

From the renovation of the family farmhouse have been obtained 3 apartments, with the possibility to accommodate up to five guests, and 2 rooms with adjoining large verandas equipped with kitchenette and refrigerator.

All rooms are equipped with large interior spaces, furnished in rustic style and surrounded by a large garden from which you can admire an exciting panorama, ranging from the hills of Grossetano (low Monte Amiata) to the Castle of Castiglione della Pescaia, passing by the nature reserve of Diaccia Botrona, the promontory of Monte Argentario and the island of Giglio!

For lovers of good food it is also possible, upon reservation, to taste in the characteristic restaurant a rich breakfast with traditional desserts and a dinner with typical Maremma dishes: Pici, Tortelli, Gnocchi, Acquacotta, Pappardelle ... all made by the owner with exclusively local ingredients or the company itself, processed completely by hand following the good rule of traditional home cooking.

Activities and surrounding

Close to many sites of tourist interest, the agriturismo is the ideal base for discovering the region’s gastronomy, history, culture and sport, and nature lovers can enjoy walks or guided excursions by mountain bike or on horseback.

Just 20 minutes takes you to the beautiful beaches of Cala Violina and Punta Ala, to museums and Etruscan remains, while Montalcino, Siena, Pitigliano, Mount Amiata, the Uccellina Park, Monte Argentario and the islands are all within an hour.
