In the main house, the owners live on the first floor; on the ground floor you’ll find the Suite Biancospino, the Appartamento Vallebuia and the Appartamento Val di Merse, thus called for the view they offer. The Val di Merse apartment, which centuries ago was a stable, is today composed of a master bedroom with closet and safe, bath with multipurpose shower, single bedroom (with bunkbed), and spacious living room with kitchen unit in stone and fireplace, dishwasher, burners, electric water boiler, wood oven and electric oven. Heating is independent, by fireplace. Today the ancient dunghill is a gracious courtyard with outdoor furniture and barbecue and is exclusively for this flat.
The Appartamento Vallebuia was originally a stable for goats, but today offers a master bedroom, bath with shower, and kitchen unit with fireplace. Heating is independent, by fireplace. On the spacious lawn outside there is outdoor furniture and a barbecue.
In the former haystack there are 2 apartments called Ciciano and Boccheggiano (because they overlook these two small towns), furnished in Tuscan style with a kitchen unit and fireplace, bath and master bedroom. Heating is independent, by fireplace. On the spacious lawn outside there is outdoor furniture and a barbecue. On the ground floor of the haystack guests have a common room with a large fireplace and a panoramic terrace, along with maps and brochures for exploring the area.
The Ciciano and Boccheggiano flats may be united into a single apartment. The owners, who are locals, try to offer their guests a pleasant stay and knowledge of Tuscan traditions. This agriturismo uses alternative technologies for energy saving like rain water, solar panels (for hot water), photovoltaic panels (for electrical energy), recycling, energy-saving lightbulbs, and fireplaces for heating.
