The agriturismo
Countryhouse in the nature. From the farm Nocini, at the foot of the small medieval village of Tatti, you can enjoy the landscape of Maremma: fields, meadows, woods, scrub and ancient villages, which slopes down to the sea, located 30 km and clearly visible in the valley. Tatti can be reached on foot through a short and shady path. The farm is located 800 meters from the main road on a dirt road: a car with a very low trim could have problems. Nocini offers peace, rest and beautiful starry skies, to be admired in the cool of the evening; rich breakfasts and snacks with local products and many walks, in the company of the cheerful and friendly band of animals that live in the farm: 3 dogs, 15 cats, a goat and a ram!
The accommodation
Podere Nocini di Maremma is a small hamlet surrounded by 24 hectares of scrubland, woodland, fields and olive groves. The old manor house has been restored to accommodate the 4 rooms of the farmhouse; next to the house there is a small garden for summer vegetables. The old stables and the granary have become the homes of the owners of the Agriturismo. Other structures in the hamlet are the new stable for goats and mutton, the woodshed, the oven room, where bread was once baked for the whole village of Tatti and the cellar, with a large antique wine vat inside. The rooms are all facing south, towards the sea and the valley and all enjoy views of the garden and fields. The small village of Tatti, all in stone and with a beautiful medieval fortress at the top, is clearly visible to the left of the farm. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture and objects, embroidered sheets and many books placed in small wooden bookcases.
Activities and surrounding
The sea is 30 km away: among the most beautiful beaches are Cala Violina, Cala Martina, Castiglione della Pescaia, Punta Ala, le Rocchette; the island of Elba and the island of Giglio are reachable in a day, while the lake of Accesa is very close, with crystal clear waters and small grassy beaches. Massa Marittima, Populonia, Vetulonia and the abbey of San Galgano are wonderful historical and archaeological destinations. As for spas Petriolo and Venturina are very close. Finally, yoga lessons, private guides for excursions to cities of art, sailing trips: with a little advance notice we will fulfill every desire!

Unfortunately we were only two nights in this wonderful accommodation. Everything was fine, very loving and cordial. We felt very comfortable.
The only downer was the access road to the farmstead, but even this can be done with care.
