The restaurant offers caringly cooked dishes typical of the Maremma, where every ingredient is selected to offer you that something extra that can only be found in Maremma.
The accommodation
The Farmhouse is located on an estate whose main products are oil and wine, together with a small production of saffron (Crocus) of the Maremma, a vegetable garden, some fruit trees and farm animals. It is located on a sunny hill, in a favourable position for both a high quality oil and a good traditional Tuscan Sangiovese wine.
In the middle of a small hill, 300 mt. from the main road leading to the village of Poggi del Sasso, lies our Farmhouse, a house with the typical stone facade, from where you can enjoy a stunning panoramic 360 degree view, from the sea to “Monte Amiata”, a charming ski resort about 30 min. by car.
The climate, tempered by the influence of the sea and the mountain, offers pleasantly cool summers and mild winters. The farm is surrounded by a beautiful meadow where you can enjoy truly relaxing moments surrounded by nature, breathing fresh air and sipping a nice glass of Montecucco wine on the outdoor seating area.
All rooms are furnished in Tuscan style, with the utmost attention to detail in a family atmosphere, where guests will enjoy harmony and well-being.
On the ground floor the dining room, also decorated in the same style, offers an intimate area with a maximum of 20 seats, where genuine Maremma cuisine dishes prepared with care, passion and a great selection of our own and locally sourced ingredients, are served in front of the green olive tree fields.
