The farmhouse is just a few minutes from Alberese, also reachable on foot, where you will find small shops and restaurants with typical local cuisine.
From the town you can use the bus to get both to the beach and to wonderful trails in the Maremma Natural Park, where you will admire marvelous landscapes and meet animals like wild boars, foxes, deer, does, and a variety of birds.
Adjacent to the town you can find the bicycle trail to Marina d'Alberese. While on it, immersed in nature, it is impossible not to remain enchanted by the beautiful natural sceneries.
For those who are into canoeing, the Ombrone River is easily accessible; and will lead you to the sea, where you will be able to admire lots of birds' natural habitat . Five minute from the farmhouse there are two equine trails for unforgettable horseback rides within the Park.

A few kilometers away, you can reach Grosseto and other attractive medieval towns, rich with history and tradition. Half an hour north along the coast of the Tirreno Sea, you can find rare and beautiful locations like Castiglione della Pescaia, Vetulonia, Punta Ala, and towards south Talamone, Argentario, Ansedonia, Capalbio and the oasis of Burano. Moving inland you will find delightful towns like Magliano in Tuscany, Manciano, Pitigliano, Sorano, and the thermal of Saturnia.
