Just a few minutes from the beautiful medieval town of Capalbio, the family-run Sicomoro farmhouse offers hospitality to all lovers of the sea (3 km) and to all those who, in general, wish to discover the charming territory of the Lower Maremma.

A place of peace and serenity, perfect for a relaxing vacation.

The accommodation

The farm consists of a recently renovated farmhouse surrounded by 12 hectares of land cultivated mainly with vines, olive trees, vegetables and cereals. The farmhouse is distinguished by its simplicity but at the same time by the good taste and hospitality that characterize the family.

Guests have at their disposal 2 apartments (Azzurro and Ciliegio) and a studio apartment (Yasmina) close to vineyards and olive groves. The Azzurro apartment has a living room with furnished kitchen and sofa bed (which can comfortably accommodate 1 person), double bedroom and bathroom. It enjoys a veranda equipped with chairs and small table in front of a beautiful garden.

Behind the Azzurro apartment is the Yasmina studio, a little gem with a furnished kitchen inside. From the studio apartment, through a French window, you can directly access the garden equipped with a small table, chairs and deck chairs in front of a very comfortable barbecue.

The Ciliegio apartment is located on the ground floor of the main house, which also has a furnished veranda. It consists of living room with furnished kitchen, sofa bed, bathroom and large double bedroom where a third bed or crib can be added.

Activities and surrounding

Those who stay at the farm can enjoy the silence of nature, go horseback riding (two stables nearby) or cycling, or visit the nearby beaches starting from the wonderful area of Lake Burano (protected by the WWF), to the promontory of Ansedonia.

Don't miss the nearby Argentario with Orbetello, Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole, places rich in history and characteristic views, the medieval village of Capalbio, the world-famous Tarot Garden, the work of artist Niki de Saint Phalle in the heart of the green Capalbio hills, Pitigliano, Sovana, Vulci and Tarquinia, with their Etruscan-era settlements, and, of course, the thermal baths of Saturnia.
