The history of CasolareAlberelli, immersed in the woods of Nibbiaia (Livorno, Tuscany), a few hundredmeters from the sea, comes from far away: the farmhouse was built as a monastery in the seventeenth century, and since its origin has been conceived as a place suitable for rest and relaxation of body andspirit.

CasolareAlberelli stands on the top of a hill and dominates the nearby Mediterranean Sea and some islands such as Elba, Capraia, Gorgona, Corsica.

Think of Agriturismo Alberelli as a starting point to explore the famous art cities of Tuscany, the enchantingbays, the small medieval villages and as a placeto organize retreats of yoga, meditation, art.

Alberelli has 3 apartments inside the farmhouse and 2 separate cottages but always surrounded by greenery. All the houses are decorated in the simple and refined Tuscan style. The antique furniture and ornaments chosen with care, create a link with the history of the place and infuse a warm and familiar atmosphere.

The silence that surrounds Alberelli will soon allow you to relax and enjoy the natural environment, with the nocturnal singing of birds and the gentle sound of the waves of the sea.

At our farm we have a beautiful landscape, gardens and a room of 80 m2 for yoga, meditation and art retreats.

The vast grounds of the agritourism have various areas for yoga,consciouswalking, meditative practices , painting, sculpture and creative writing courses , as well as secluded corners where participants can relax or meditate surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation.

The place you will find waiting for you is ideal for all those who wish to live an experience of complete immersion in the rhythms, flavours and colours of Nature: a place suspended between the woods and the sea, between the earth and the sky, where you can experience unforgettable moments from dawn to dusk.

We can accommodate for retreats up to 20 people in cozy and well-kept apartments and in a quiet and relaxing environment.

At Agriturismo Alberelli we live in complete harmony with nature, respecting its times. We have therefore conceived our company, our structures and our activities according to this principle. All our choices are bound by the nature that surrounds us and try to minimize the impact on it:

• Our apartments, just for its ancient origin, have thick walls, allowing to always have cool rooms during the summer, so they do not need air conditioning.
• The lawns that surround us are made to grow following the passing of the seasons, giving you their different colors.
• To irrigate our crops we use the recycling of rainwater.
• We practice daily a careful collection of waste.
• By choice we have not built a swimming pool to preserve the beauty and quiet of this place and for the extreme proximityto the sea.
• We decided to do without televisions because we believe that this is the only way to truly relax and live at the rhythm of nature.

All these values were necessary for us to start an eco-sustainable project.

The farmhouse was built and renovated respecting the typical architecture of the Tuscan countryside, taking into account the environment.

Experimenting and sharing: these are the two principles that guide our philosophy, in particular of learning, but also of living in general. Duringour courses we make sure that you can let yourself be carried away by creativity and express your interest freely.

Cooking courses:

Conscious:discovering a more nourishing, balanced and healing diet that stimulates vital energy and helps us listen to our bodies and understand our essential needs.

Tuscany:discovering traditions. During the course you will discover all the secrets to create homemade pasta, appetizing dishes with fresh and genuine ingredients.

At the end of the course, you will be able to taste all the delicacies prepared with your own hands!

Course of wild and officinal herbs of alimentary use:

In peasant culture it has always been customary to go out and gatherherbs. In the family of Alberelli we are lucky enough to continue this fascinating tradition of going tomake herbs, thanks to grandmother Cristiana that will introduce you into this wonderful world. Through beautiful walks you will learn torecognize wild herbs and will be given information on harvesting and drying.

At the end we will put into practice healthy and tasty recipes that involve the use of wild herbs in everyday life!

Tasting ofour Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

During your stay you can request atasting to discover the Mediterranean flavour of our Alberelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It will be a pleasure to discover its fruity flavour, with a spicy aftertaste, in the shade of a cypress tree, with an unforgettable view of the Mediterranean Sea. The hillsof the Etruscan Coast (Livorno), with their gentle slopes not too far from the sea, are the ideal place to obtain an extraordinary olive oil in terms of quality and taste!

We will always be happy to suggestplaces to visit, bays and beaches. Point outnature trails and introduce you to the wide green spaces where you can relax.

Yoga Lessons:

It is possible to participate in private or group yoga lessons by a certified yoga teacher. The lessons take place in our yoga room that gives beautiful sensations.

Walks

We invite you to take a walk in our wonderful "Macchia Mediterranea", to enjoy the sea breeze and the scents of the forest, to delight your eyes with the warm colors of nature. We can provide you with information on the many paths to take tovisit beautiful villages and places sacred to the Etruscan civilization. Near the farmhouse there are several green areas of naturalistic interest recognized by the authorities, such as the SIR ofMonte Pelato and the Park of Monti Livornesi, where you can make beautiful hiking in nature, culture and history.

Picnic

In our land surrounding thefarmhouse there are manygreen spacesoverlooking the sea where you can enjoya delicious picnic with culinary basketsprepared by theAlberelli family with our natural products: seasonal vegetables,Tuscan recipes and a good selection of local wines.

It is our sincere wish that you can feel well as if it were your own home and for this reason we provide for you these additional services:

At any time during your stay, from the moment you arrive, you can decide not to cook and enjoy avegetarian/vegan Tuscan menuchoosing from many delicious dishesprepared by the cook who will come directly to your apartment!

Information Service:

You will find information and suggestions: maps, useful telephone numbers, list of restaurants, shops, events and Slow Food Presidia in the area, places to visit and news about the property. We put at your disposal our knowledge of the area to plan excursions and organize guided tours.

Baby-sitter:

If you wish to spend aromantic evening, we can offer a service of experienced babysitters who will take care of your children.

Internet Wi-Fi outside the Apartments:

There is an equipped space inside the farmhouse withfree unlimitedinternet access.

Linen:

In each apartment you will find all the necessary linen (also for the kitchen) and bath towels according to the number of people.

Cleaning service:

If you prefer we can take care of the housework during your holiday.

You can enjoy your stay at Alberelli by booking aregenerating massage in the woods, pampering yourself in the company of silence, while admiring the splendid view of the sea and the green Tuscan hills.

Pets:

Your four-legged friends will always be welcome in our farmhouse, but to avoid misunderstandings with other guests, only if they are small and medium-sized. They must be well behaved and sociable. Please let us know at the time of booking.
