The agriturismo
Surrounded by greenery and 6 km from the sea, in the heart of the splendour of the Wine Trail, offering apartments perfect for families with children, rooms ideal for couples and groups of friends who love good wine, nature and relaxation. The property has a park covering 5,000 m² with swimming pool and games.
The accommodation
The farmhouse: built by the owners themselves in the late 1950s, this has four apartments, two on the first floor, with a shared huge covered terrace, and two on the ground floor.
Each apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and a fully-equipped kitchen. There is a veranda with tables and chairs for outdoor dining.
The rooms: are decorated and finished to offer maximum comfort and relaxation. Equipped with air conditioning, minibar, armchairs and outdoor tables and chairs.
They overlook the park covering 5,000 m², the ideal place for relaxing with a glass of wine produced on the farm.
The rustic cottage: is opposite the farmhouse apartments and has been converted from the old sheds, where the farm animals such as goats, pigs and hens “lived”.
Completely independent, it is suitable for large families or groups of friends, and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with fireplace and a large kitchen.
The pool area features two pools, one measuring 14m x 7m which is 1.40 m deep with Roman-style steps outside and a smaller one measuring 3m x 3m which is 50 cm deep for younger guests getting to grips with water for the first time.
Access to the pool is through an entrance with a foot wash and shower, and there is a large sun deck enclosed by a wooden fence, so as to ensure maximum safety and hygiene.
Activities and surrounding
The sea is five minutes away: one of the most beautiful seas in Italy, holder of a “blue flag” for the cleanliness of its water for 15 years, with free or serviced beaches. Nearby are the ancient villages of Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci, Bibbona, Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto and Populonia, offering views and landscapes to discover, along with the history of the ancient Etruscans and their ancient settlements.
Just a short distance away, you can visit the historic residence of the poet Giosuè Carducci,who spent his youth in these places, visit the WWF Park in San Guido, perfect for birdwatching enthusiasts, discover the historic wineries in Bolgheri, such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia, along with many other smaller wineries, including the one at the agriturismo itself, with extremely high calibre wines.
In addition, accessible to everyone: tennis courts, five-a-side football fields and ice rinks. A few minutes’ drive takes you to spas like the Tombolo Talasso Resort, Il Calidario or La Cerreta.
