A typical Tuscan farm house, it has been completely renovated, in a position with excellent views of the surroundings on the near the mediaeval village of Sassetta, in the Val di Cornia, on the Etruscan coast.

This is a typical farm house called Campo Nuovo and has been completely renovated.
Its position with excellent views of the surroundings allows the guests to appreciate, from the comfort of their rooms, fresh air and the wonders of nature whilst preserving its original character.

The inside of the house has been restructured to make 12 bedrooms with central heating, private bathrooms, some of them with fridge and a terrace.

Their cook prepares homemade Tuscan specialities following traditional recipes and using the best ingredients in season (egg homemade pasta with wild boar, spare ribs, various mushrooms, sheep cheese, chestnut jam etc.). The limited number of bedrooms, the personal service and the presentation of the food is particularly suited to a pleasant relaxing stay.

Activities and surrounding

The farm is near the mediaeval village Sassetta in the country area Pian delle Vigne in the valley of the river Cornia. The surrounding countryside is typical Tuscany hills and open plains, forest, olive groves, vineyards, cypress trees, coastal wood land and lakes offers peace and tranquility with interesting flora and fauna.
The mild climate, the countryside, the proximity to the sea and the convenience to the transport network offers a combination perfect for a wonderful holiday.

Guest can enjoy the swimming pool and tennis courts set in a large park.
The facilities are available for use by night thanks to abundant illumination.
Take a short, healthy walk through the woods to a small lake where you can fish.
Guided excursions on horseback can also be arranged.

For lovers of Art + History take note that we aren't far from Volterra (50 Km.), S. Giminiano (70 Km.), Siena (90 Km.), Pisa (90 Km.) and Florence (150 Km.).
For nature lovers we recommend excursions to Uccellina National Park (80 Km.), Bolgheri (13 Km.) and WWF nature reserve (8 Km.). The numerous local festas or entertainments allow the hotel guests to have a pleasant enjoyable stay whatever season of the year.
